s0m Returns

Somprasert s0m Haddow, a well decorated player who has been on teams such as Team Dignitas and FM Toxic, is joining the team to fill the last spot as a 5th player. Since epic.LAN 16 and the departure of Boaster, there has been a struggle to complete the roster. This will be his first LAN since his epic.14 in February earlier this year but we are eager to see him perform in the upcoming i56 as the event draws closer and closer.

I spoke to s0m about how he felt getting back to practising in a team, seeing as he had only been in mix teams since late 2013 with ESWC and i50 being his last competitive events in fm.TOXIC. In the recent years he had left the UK to go to Thailand to train as a Muay Thai fighter.

After getting back from Thailand, I decided I needed to take a long break from fighting after sustaining an injury in one of my fights out there. I decided I wanted to try and see if Counter-Strike was still as enjoyable as it once was for me, as I originally chose to quit in 2013 because I lost my passion in the game. After playing a few weeks of matchmaking and FaceIt, I thought it would be a good time to try and find a team where I could try and get back my form when I was in FM Toxic. Fortunately, I was approached by one of my good friends and ex team-mates, Tom vertiGo Rockliffe, on whether I wanted to join and try and re-kindle my passion for the game. Hopefully iSeries can be a stepping stone for greater things, seeing as Counter-Strike continues to grow in and outside the UK.
